We are a small school and we treat your data the way we treat our students: personally, and with no funny business. Here is exactly what we collect and why.

Who we are

Language Learn Online is operated by MEZAGABEL PTE. LTD. (company number 202628407M), 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914. What we collect, and why

We collect as little as we can get away with, and we only use it to run the school.

• The contact form. Your name, email address and message. We use them to reply to you, and for nothing else. They are not added to a mailing list and never sold or shared for marketing.
• Booking an intro call. Bookings run through TidyCal, which collects your name, email address and the time you choose so the call can happen. We send a WhatsApp reminder before the call if you share your number.
• Taking lessons. Lessons run on Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, depending on what your teacher uses. Your study material lives in a shared Google Drive folder you get access to when your package starts.
• Invoicing. The details needed to send an invoice, to you or to your employer if they are paying.

Cookies

By default the site only uses what it needs to work. If you choose "Accept all" in the cookie notice, we may also use optional analytics that tell us which pages help people book a call. If you choose "Essential only", we do not.

Your choice is stored in your browser (under the name llo-cookie-choice) so we do not ask you on every visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser data for this site, or by asking us to help.

Embedded services

Some parts of the site load content from other companies, and only when you use them.

• TidyCal loads inside the booking window when you open it, to show the calendar and take your booking.
• YouTube videos only load after you press play, and use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
• WhatsApp links open WhatsApp itself; nothing loads on our pages.

Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep things

Messages and booking details are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and run your lessons, and invoices for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records. We do not keep data we no longer need.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and a person will handle it, usually the same day.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
